I know you can scan checks and such, but how does it work with the phone? Taking a picture of it or using an app (Like the Android one for instance) or calling?

The USAA app lets you take pictures of the checks to deposit them.

Endorse it "for deposit only" + acct no and sig, snapshot of front and back. Takes like 3-5mins tops
