Any idea how much force that helicopter has? ;)

Edit: I haven't yet watched the entire thing, though..so take it as you will..

It looks like the bottles are mounted to the table. If I were a cap I'd pop off to with the force of a helicopter pulling me off. It looks like the table/device holds them pretty tight against the table.

it's not that the caps are rigged, but that the bottles are secured to the platform very tightly. they aren't opening them using the lever action but by just ripping the caps up and off.

I was expecting the helicopter to rip off the cap along with the top-end of the bottle...

I think it broke the first bottle the US guy opened.

Who would risk crashing for a car race?

Who would risk getting hurt for a football game?

Who would risk crashing for an air race?

Im sorry, opening beer bottles with a bottle opener is not a regular use for a helicopter.

There's a fairly small risk of crashing...the worst that would happen is that you'd accidentally nudge the helicopter too far forward and break a bottle. You'd have to be piss-poor at hovering to actually crash, and I think it goes without saying that you wouldn't have opened any bottles beforehand.;)

Is it easy to do that? Are you a helicopter pilot?

Hovering isn't easy, but unless you get sick of the small, precise movements necessary to maneuver it around and shove the stick hard for no reason, your chopper isn't going to spontaneously crash while doing it.

Parallel parking isn't easy either, but very few people manage to total their cars in the attempt.
