I love how they get "US wants Iraq council scrapped" from "Reports from the United States suggest the Bush administration has become so frustrated with the Iraqi Governing Council, it may be looking to scrap it."

Typical media crap.

OK, I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with this in the event it is true. If progress isn't being made, why should we spend time parading them with a military escort?

Frankly, I think we need a Patton-like figure in charge there. Certainally a bit more forcefull, but a more balls-to-the-wall approach might get this overwith a bit quicker.

The council is a bunch of fools and traitors, a joke of a gov't. Ba'athist are already picking them off one by one. The only way stability will return to Iraq is when the Ba'ath regime is restored.

Patton was a buffoon, and there are enough of those already in the current adminstration.
