The part issue is and remains, Israel is the only nation with Nuclear weapons in the mid-east. We can also ask the question if some other mid-east nations will join Israel in having nuclear weapons. But we can ask if nuclear weapons will gain Israel any mid-east credibility or friends?

israel already stated publicly that they will not allow any of their neighbors to gain an advantage over them.

this is why the world lets them keep the nukes.

they have nukes, no one will really touch them.

now, if any other nation gets nukes, then israel is going to act because past examples has shown these nations (lebanon, syria, iran, etc) dont like israel.

its like pouring acid on a tile.

a little acid, a small hole.

a lot of acid, STILL a hole, but bigger.

and by nukes, I mean the bomb, not the electrical power nuke.

And who is the world?

The US? The Euros? The Chinese? The Russians? The Arabs?

None of these parties has the power nor the leverage to get rid of (unverified) Isreali nukes. Just like not one of these powers would get rid of (verified) N.Korean nukes.

I say it's time to make the ME nuke free... Starting with pulling Israeli-american made nukes out first. Time to set an example... lead on...

Israel collaborated with South Africa to build their nuclear weapons. Their nuclear weapons are one of the few pieces of military hardware they have that aren't made in the USA.

YEP set the old example.....exterminate your own race by being utterly stupid!!

That is such a BS reply it`s not even funny!!
here is exactly what would happen if you were to disarm Israel.......with in a year or two no Israel.

If you were to disarm all of Israel enemies....they would still be enemies but Israel would do nothing against them.

The lesson is simple disarm Israel...israel falls...

Disarm Israel`s enemies they will still exist.....

Oh god damn, how stupid can you get Common Courtesy? Do you really really think that a lack of US support will give Israel a license to attack all its neighbors for no cause? You crazy man Common Courtesy!

At the end of the day, Israel will simply find itself facing the same international economic embargo that other Apartheid State of South Africa faced.

Smell the damn coffee, the USA was the only member of the UN Security council that vetoed that universal Israeli condemnation.

As it is, the rest of the world is waiting for the Bozo Netanyuhu government to fall, and then the prospects for mid-east peace brighten significantly.

Do you really really think, that somehow think, that bat shit crazy Israeli settler parties can define future Israeli policy and get away with it?

Where did I indicate that Israel will go out and attack it's neighbors.
Ignoring the fact that the US is the only thing preventing Israel from destroying those that continue to attack her.

See, if Israel did not have the support of the US, then the first strike that she makes in any conflict will have to be terminal; she can not afford a drawn out conflict.

They have only attacked when being attacked/threatened first.
I use the word threaten to appease the sympathizers that want to blame Israel for the '67 conflict. Ignoring that the Arabs were lined up along her borders and Egypt had ordered a synchronized attack with Jordan for the following day.

And they have only stopped or been restrained by the intervention of the US / UN.

Given the UN attitude toward Israel, the UN intervention for an Arab state will be laughed at.

It is the US the Israel is concerned about; lack of support means there is no one to talk reason in the event of an attack.

Maybe then the hostilities will end.

Removal of the current Israeli government will not encourage/deliver peace talks. The Palestinians are not ready to come to the table themselves until they iron out their internal issues. As stated previous and conveniently ignored, they have documented that the Fatah does not have the authority to negotiate and also that Hamas does not want peace with Israel and will actively attempt to disrupt any attempts at it. Mohamed himself could be at the head of the Israel table and they still would not show because it is an Israeli table.

That is the problem Israeli exists and those that control the puppets can not accept that and then deal with it.

those puppet masters can say one thing to the world, but when the time comes to control the puppets and/or release them to think on their own; no way.

I wonder? Has the UN been acting as "the voice of the larger international community" as Gaddafi has been mercilessly slaughtering his own people? Or, is the UN currently only a one issue body?

The resolution was written by the Palestinians. which is why nothing was stated about their actions when the settlements were frozen at their request.

Previous resolutions against Israel have been also written by the Arab/Palestinain PR groups.
