nope not gonna let it die. how was i whining? i brought up a point. that hardly constitutes whining. "stones to protect themselves"? i protect myself everyday...but i couldn't do what those soliders are doing for me over there and i guess by your definition every person that doesn't serve in the military doesn't have the stones to protect themselves or is a whiny couch potato.

He was a captain. He could have just as easily told one of his grunts to do it too but he lead by example. Good for him.

I consider myself very pro-environment. But I relaize that there are some very wacky extreemists on the environmentalist side. There are extreemists on just about everything.

I call the real nuts "Tree-huggers", just as I call extreemist Christians "Bible-Thumbers" (I am Christian, BTW), extreemist Liberals "Pinko Commies", Extreemist Conservatives "Redneck Hard-Heads", etc.

It has been my experience that almost invariably, and ESPECIALLY on AT, the anti-U.S., anti-war folks are also environmental extreemists... Tree-Huggers.

I was not labelling anyone who cares about the environment, as that would label myself along with you.

I could have added "Anti-U.S." in there, but that seemed redundant.

Good to hear it. I too am a Christian and pro-environment and pro-kill-every-alqaeda-wacko-we-can-find... Just thought for a sec you were one of those conservatives making blanket statements...

i agree. sometimes you guys make me sick..did you stop and think for a second that the men who died could of been someone's husband, father, son, brother, etcetera. regardless, of who did what to who..death is not something to jeer about. just be fortunate we can sit behind our computers.
