oh come onm,. a high altitude nuclear burst will fry electronics just the same. so why use a microwave? high altitude mnukes wont have the side effects of radiation either.

EMP won't in and of itself hurt humans. However, if you're talking on the phone, or holding a power tool or something, you could quite likely get shocked.
