Tiger will win tomorrow easily.

Most said the same thing about Ben Hogan in his playoff with Jack Fleck. Almost everyone said that about Harry Vardon and Ted Ray in their playoff against Francis Ouimet. Hell, absolutely everyone said the same thing last night when Tiger had a 2 shot lead to start the final round.

There is no words for the play Tiger can do.

Feel for Rocco.

Tiger will win tomorrow easily.
Not a sure thing tomorrow at all. Rocco beat Tiger by 2 strokes today. Tiger's playing on one leg.

Could go either way.

Essentially this is going to be match play though, and Tiger will be tough one to beat, especially since he'll be popping it 30-40 yards beyond Rocco. Should be good theatre as usual though 🙂

Tiger is extraordinary and truly a pleasure to watch, especially these past few days. Golf is the toughest sport out there, and he's already beat everyone (besides Rocco) on one leg. Though his leg didn't bother him much the first couple of days, the pain is really setting in today, and will tomorrow. Can't wait to watch this. I think this will be his most amazing victory ever if he is to win. The 18 hole playoff format definitely isn't good for his knee, a 3 hole playoff would be much better probably. But, Tiger is still the favorite to win I think, even with a bad knee. It would be really sad to see Tiger put so much effort into this tournament and come in 2nd.

Give him a break, he looks like he's in pain after almost every shot...

he's been doing exactly this for a long time. he's not exactly the leader in fairways hit or greens in regulation ever.

Obviously you need to do a little more researching.
Tiger has never been the leader in fairway hits but he's always at the top in GIR.
In fact hes #1 in both 2007 and 2006.
His GIR is 73% this year that would would lead if he played enough to qualify.
So who really cares if hes bad in fairway hits if hes always leading in GIR.

Golf sucks, hard.

But Tiger is awesome, no doubt about it.

I did go to the US Open in Pinehurst a few years ago when Payne Stewart won--a few months before he died. It was a good time.

Still, golf is a horrible, horrible game (not a sport--important distinction there)

That's pretty much my conflicted opinion on the whole matter
😛

i guess it wouldn't make any sense not for him to be a leader in greens. have to hit your greens to get birdies, after all.

i stand by the fairways thing. we know you can bench 300 tiger.

I hate Tiger Woods, makes it boring to watch when you already know who's going to win.

Um, he was trailing the leader by 1 stroke as he tee'd off on the 18th hole...and he hit it into a bunker. 😕

That hole was actually one of the most exciting moments in golf in recent history IMO.

I hate watching golf. So insanely boring. That being said, I absolutely loved watching the US Open this weekend. This HD feed on usopen.com is absolutely amazing. I am split screening my work computer.
