LMFAO! I can't believe how desparate the newsies are to get some ratings. US is mistreating them? Exactly how is the US supposed to treat people whose ultimate goal in life is to kill every American on the planet? Personally, i think that they should be interrogated, then killed. Do you really think anyone is going to do anything about that? Some preachers will whine and some leaders will shake their heads but that'll be it.

They're gettin' three hots and a cot, which is better than some American citizens get.

Maybe... No one knows. The pictures that MSNBC had showed em on their knees and blindfolded outside. No shelter. US is refusing to classify them as POW's so the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to them.

If the United States PEOPLE were charged with taking care of the prisoners, that'd be beyond "mistreatment." The military is offering them a lot more hospitality than what individual citizens would offer... :|

How about we make them lay on the three hots, and stuff the cot down their throats!?

Bah, they may be heartless, but they're heartless humans. Give them the "Golden Rule" treatment, and offer them decent(as in Geneva Convention rules) conditions, but nothing more.

So fvcking what?

The Geneva convention didn't apply to the 3,000 people who died just because of where they worked, either, did it?

They're a hell of a lot better off than a lot of American prison inmates. They could have shipped them to Arizona and let Sherrif Joe have them. Then they'd get to sleep outside in a tent, get three bologna sandwhiches a day, and do hard labor from sunup till sundown.

I would be extremely surprised if we are mistreating these guys. They are trying to get information out of them, and believe it or not, torture is not the best way to get somebody to fess up to stuff. You befriend them, get them a little drunk, screw up their sense of time, and wait for them to let something slip.

I wish one of the Mothers of America or the Red Cross wold ask me..
I they want a cause then how about taking care of the homeless.
How about fixing the problems we have on our own soil, screw world hunger
until we take care of our own.......

These screwballs are getting more alot more than I would ever think to give them.
So what if their cell has no walls, the way I look at it a chain linked fence could be
considered a wall. We even allow them their "Mecca Time daily".

I say we hand them all over to the military and let them test new ammunition on them.
Test the penetration effects an unknown distances, test new grenades to see what
the real kill radis or the wounding radis actually is.

Why waste taxpayer money on treating them well? All of them will be killed anyway. You don't think that the government is going to set them free or risk putting them in jail, do you? These people cannot be reasoned with, they will never change their mind about us. They are fanatics.

You people are insane. You rant and rave about 'the 3000 dead Americans didn't get Geneva Convention rights' but then you claim that we should 'kill them all', 'fvck em all', 'use them for ammo testing'. Well which is it? You want people to get their rights or not? Who are you to judge whether someone deserves basic human treatment?

What if it was the other way around? US soliders being held captive? As in Iraq... We were yelling and screaming for Iraq to treat our soliders right and about the Geneva Convention, and this that and the other. The Iraqis probably felt the same way about us as we do about the Taliban/Al-Queda. They just killed our people, why should we treat them right?

Like it or not, they were soldiers in their country and should be extending the same basic rights that we'd want our soldiers to have. Any info they have now is probably worthless, so torturing them would do no good. Bin Laden is long gone from any location that any of the prisoners would know about.

Note that we are talking about Al-Qaida here, not Taliban. If these were Taliban soldiers, then i'd have to say that they deserve to be treated like humans. But they aren't. They are members of a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. They should be treated differently.

The hand wringers were upset about the face masks the detainees were wearing...but this is due to nearly all testing positive for tuberculosis among other things. That's what they get for huddeling around in a cave breathing each others rotten crotch. They look nearly human in those orange suits. And eating 3 meals a day as well. The homeless in America should have it so good. ;)

You know sometimes I get really confused by what I read here and can only hope the kind of ignorant statements above are written by the 16 yr old kid they sound like, rather than a grown member of society. B/c at least when you're 16 it's ok to talk with your dick instead of your brains.

How can you honestly write that you hope these guys are treated inhumanely, like sh1t? You know I could understand it if you were just an a$$hole with a sadistic bent, but when you justify it with your anger and pain at having your countrymen killed, that's pretty screwed up.
