I wish someone had thrown water on the parents of the baby that was crying throughout the last LOTR movie. Who the hell brings their baby to a 3 and a half hour fantasy movie? Asshats.

I agree that is way wrong.

If there's one thing I hate, it's you cheap ass bastards who think they deserve the world...on the cheap.

If you don't like crying babies, DON'T FLY COACH CLASS you tight wad!

Spring for either business class or 1st class where families do not usually sit because of cost.

But if you insist on flying coast to coast for under $100, then just deal with the crying babies!!

Yes, I realize that's not my plane. But I've paid money to be transported from point A to point B in relative comfort. I DO have rights not to be annoyed. Have you ever been on a red-eye flight from california to new york? When it's 2am in the morning and you're trying to get some sleep, while somebody's 4 month old baby keeps crying. Trust me, I wasn't the only one annoyed. This is America and I do have rights to some quiet time in an already uncomfortable seat.

Don't fly coach then you cheap bastard.

Those bashing the parents for taking a baby on a flight. WHHHHAAAAA! heh get over it. its not your plane. they are allowed to take there kids wherever they want. You do NOT have the right not to get annoyed.

That is the absolute stupidest thing I've read all day. You can't really be serious can you?

OMG, some of you need to STFU. You know you're all annoyed by crying babies at restaurants, in planes, etc... Argo just said what everyone else was thinking... but forums are all about bashing, right?

Argo didn't say what everyone was thinking. He shared an experience and an opinion. Maybe he should have put on some headphones or something. Parents have the right to take their children where ever they like. If you don't like it do something about it. See how far get you.

Nobody was bashing Argo. Just telling him to deal with it.

I would have thrown water on them, stabbed them, and stolen the baby to smuggle drugs with.

If that guy had thrown water on my son because he was crying, I would be the one in jail for laying him out cold across seats D E and F....

I second that. You touch my child you better be prepared to be touched! What ever happened to simply saying can I help with anything? Face it, parents have to travel... like it or not. I get as frustrated , maybe more then you when my little one cries in the plane, but sometimes that can not be helped... thats how they communicate.

I did not know babies communicated by crying. They cry because they have a dirty diaper, they are hungry, they want their mommy...They start crying, then check the diaper, offer food or pick them up and entertain them. This will eliminate 99.5% of all crying incidences and if the parent does not attempt to do this, then they need a glass of water in the face.

Crying for food, or because of a dirty diaper, or because they want their momy IS COMMUNICATION. Hell you should know considering the amount of whining and crying you do in these forums.

I was flying to France. The coach ticket cost me $600. First class was something around $4,000. I pull in almost 6 digits, yet I still cannot afford to spend $4,000 on the plane ticket. So don't say anything if you don't know.

Also, a lot of times when you're on business trip you simply do not have a choice. You fly whatever your company (or your client) gives you. So please, do us all a favor - next time you open your mouth, make sure you know what the hell you're talking about. You make Jessica Simpson sound intelligent.

Well, according to some of the people in this thread you DO NOT have rights to watch the movie in the quiet. It's their right to bring the baby to the movies, and face it, babies cry. </sarcasm>

Seriously, some of you guys are REALLY stupid.

Argo didn't say throwing water on the baby was right. He actually openly said it was the wrong thing to do.

He is saying that he shouldn't have to put up with a crying baby, and he's right. If you're the parent, try to get your kid to stop crying, its very simple. If I was on a plan and started shrieking at the top of my lungs, that wouldn't be allowed either. And you know, you could always leave the kid with a relative rather than taking it on a plane.

You are SERIOUSLY retarded if you think paying $600 is cheap.

Wow. Just wow. Every time I think I've seen the absolute peak of stupidity, ATOT surprises me.

Who said paying $600 to fly to france is cheap?

You did:

lol cheap bastard.

I said he was a cheap bastard for only paying $600 (coach) and expecting 1st class service.

Not wanting to hear a crying baby the whole time is hardly expecting 1st class service. That's expecting common courtesy.

just ignore him, there's not much travel involved working at McDonald's.

Jeez. You guys act like flying a plane is supposed to be like riding a limo. Don't you understand? It is public transportation. You have to put up with hassles and annoyances.

Babies are babies, they can't control what they are doing. I'm sure the parents of the baby didn't enjoy having their kid cry during the flight but there really isn't much you can do in that kind of situation. Sure you have a right to get upset about it but that's the price you pay for taking public transportation. If you have a problem with it, take it up with the airlines and have them ban babies on board.
