Well the police claims that it was an RPG-7 (which was aiming at the shield). Sure doesn't look like that. An RPG would have done far greater damage than a broken window. Very strange. Has there been an official or a non-official statement indicating that the guards were not there and they caught nothing on camera?

The patrols part is official but of course the media are doing their job to distract the public's attention using juicy extensive reports about the terrorist group which allegedly claimed responsibility. The camera footage is not being released because there is a law prohibiting the use of those cameras for anything else other than traffic monitoring. This surveilance system was installed for the Olympic games and was supposed to be dismantled thereafter, but the police ignored its obligations and has been using them ever since. Today was the day that the supreme court was to rule on an appeal made by the police to continue the use of the sameras. Now the media advertises the need called by the right-wing government to extend their use for public safety. On top of that the judicial has authorised a lift on the privacy of all telecommunications and suspect arrests are impending.

The grenade narrowly missed the seal, punching through a window a few feet above and landing in a bathroom on the embassy?s third story, where the ambassador has his office.
