US Department of Transportation is smoking crack

I hope the Department of Transportation will stay the course in this issue until you are brought into full compliance and punished for your evil deeds. Having the courage and resolve to follow through with their task, no matter how wrong or stupid it may be, is essential to our country's future.

Don't fix the error right away. Take actions to make it appear like you're trying to straight things out. After a while, see a psychologist (depression is easy to fake) and claim that the government has ruined your life. Sue them. Live comfortably.

Take a picture of all the cars you've manufactured this year... ( 500 match box cars ) and smash one, and give them some data.

Be sure to post pics, etc.

Did you import your car? That might have something to do with the confusion.

My car came from Europe, yes, but it was imported by the manufacturer. I simply drove it while abroad.

I, too, think that might have something to do with it, although I can't fathom how. They are alleging that I MAKE cars and the TREAD Act doesn't seem to have anything to do with importation.

😉 They prob got your info slightly wrong,
they need to confiscate your Imported car,
and Crash test it.

I suggest you contact whomever helped to import your car; and follow up on this,
the Government has Humans that, If they make a mistake, don't like to admit it.

{ Is your car; maybe a "Gray area Import"? Also Known as a High Performance model thats not normally available here in the US?} 🙂

Mercedes USA imported my car. It is not a gray area import. It is the same car anyone else gets.

I'm sorry. When I started that car factory in my basement, I knew they would get me sooner or later for not doing any crash testing, so I put your name and address down as the owner. Sorry about that!

Not to hijack, but come on Mill. I sent you the down payment on my car a while ago. When are you going to ship my car?

I will personally vouch for the quality of Mill brand vehicles. Sure, they cost a lot and they're boxy, but the safety and quality is well worth it. 😛

you bought a european car and brought it back here???

I hope the steering wheel is actually on the correct side.

You're an idiot. They only drive left side in britain.

Fabulous thread.

Make a detailed crash report with your matchbox cars, detaling the physics involved when it crashes.

One year the state of indiana record's showed I made almost 300,000.00 more then I made. They had the nerve to tell me I was trying to cheat my taxes.

No, no, no.

Take the fall for actions that are completely your own fault after years of legal wrangling in the courts. Lose everything you have: Your house, wife, kids. Move from state to state, all the while continuing to post on AnandTech, gradually becoming more and more unhinged as you blame the government for all of your ills. Eventually, kick off a campaign for the presidency whilst ignoring the fact that even your own mother would not vote for you.

My Millbrand gets 43 to the gallon. It has a drag coefficient of .021, despite being mostly square. It does a standing quarter in just over 10seconds. It seats 4 tall people, comfortably. The satnav is polite, and reassures me when I'm feeling low. It smells good, inside and out, and the upholstery is scratch and sniff. It has 7 cupholders.

I  my Millbrand

My Maibatsu Monstrosity which is made by Mill Motors is equipped to drive across artic tundra! We lost little jimmy in the back and couldn't find him for a week.

You don't have any small korean kids locked in your basement by chance do you?

I've been looking for those bastids for years now.

Seriously, none of this surprises me - I've worked with or for the federal government for 10+ years, and the 'wonders' of bureaucracy never cease to amaze. This reason alone is why I stopped voting for any politician that wants to have the government handle healthcare, retirement, or much of anything else. Sure, national healthcare sounds great, but you really, really, really don't want government running healthcare any more than it does.
