US Airways has the WORST customer service ever

Me: I have a flight booked for the 30th out of Orlando, and I'm wondering what normal protocol is if my flight gets cancelled
*takes down all the reservation and transfers me*
*I have to ask the new rep the question again*

CSR: "Uh, what exactly are you implying?"

Me: There's a hurricane coming and I don't want to be here.

CSR: Oh. Um, ok. Lets see what we have here........we'll be happy to change your booking for $100/ticket plus the difference in fare.

Ugh. This is moronic.

Call them back with "I happen to know that many of the flights out of Orlando are going to be cancelled in a couple of days."

NATIONAL SECURITY: Red! or is it Orange? Or green? wtf is the color for the highest level? Why couldn't they use a scale of, say, 1-10, 1 being "no threat" 10 being "terrorism is imminent"

Oh, but as a slight correction, I thought in these forums, it was generally agreed upon that Dell has the worst customer service. Perhaps US Airways has the 2nd worst, I think that spot is up for grabs.

Most airlines do not reimburse you for cancelled flights due to weather. There has always been a charge for changing tickets.

I think Monarch Computers is #2. US Airways must be #3

I've got a few I'd like to get in while we're at it.

SEARS. What a crock of BS. "Lifetime warranty" my ass.

I brought in a 30 year old torque wrench, and according to them - it's a calibrated instrument and not under warranty. ITS AN OVERSIZED GODDAMN COMBINATION RATCHET/BREAKER BAR. WTF.

I also bought a tool set from them and the damn thing was missing a few dozen peices. It was truly ridiculous. One of the air compressors I bought had the drain valve go out and the set of pneumatic tools that it came with broke two days into running them. Their customer service totally blew chunks.

Dell. They can go suck a big fat one. Screwed me out of $750 because the account rep was a lying son of a bitch.

State Farm can go straight to hell for screwing me over on a laptop settlement. They say that two laptops, a year and a half apart in age are worth THE SAME AMOUNT. Pricks.

Progressive - screwed me out of specials times three on a car accident because their white trash insured did a hit and run.

Geico - screwed me out of $1500 in car repairs because their approved body shop is "Two guys from romania and a airbrush auto repair inc"

Really??

Assuming you buy that type of booking. Pretty much any of the low cost fares out there are restricted pretty heavily. If you go to the airline's website and do a search for full fare flights you will see that the requirements are significantly reduced

seriously how do you make it through life day by day with so many people "out to get PAB"

i feel sorry for you i mean i have also had some bad experiences with customer service but they were eventually resolved and i never got my panties in a wad like you do ....but you damn they just wont let up on you...

im beginning to think there is a conspiracy in the customer service world with a committee that meets twice a week to make sure you get crappy service and they screw you out of as much of your dads...i mean your hard earned money as possible.....there is only one way to end this...you must sacrafice yourself to the nearest volcano god immediatly...go now!.....jump in the volcano now before its is too late PAB...go go....run PAB run

Eh? This has been standard operating procedure for all airlines for years - maybe even decades. Unless you buy an unrestricted fare. Shrug - read the fine print - it's all in there. Ignorant customer != bad customer service.

But the $100 fee ... last time I had to change a ticket it was only $50. Must be because you're asian - go get em tiger.
