Hello,

I currently have a custom gaming computer with the following specs:
10 GB RAM
i7 950 3.07 Ghz
Asus Radeon HD 5750 1 GB
1 TB Hardrive
700w powersupply
I just use this PC for watching videos, editing , and play a game called Red Crucible 2 right now I can play it around 80-90 fps on low mode ultra its laggy. So if I get the GTX 750 SC will I be able to play this game smoothly on 1080p ULTRA? or is it gonna be still laggy. I am going to decide it in the next 2 days. Please let me know Thank you for reading

Should be a substantial upgrade. Not sure about the game however, being a web browser based game and dated graphics....I wonder if you don't have a problem elsewhere.

Yes it is but it computer demanding! especially once the new update for this game comes out with improved graphics and other visuals. Also this game is soon going on steam too....so should I go get the gtx 750 SC or no?

there is no way a 5750 can be a limitation in flash based browser game. the game makes Goat Simulator look like Crysis 3. and there is no telling when or if the game will even come to Steam.

As you said yourself, the problem is lag, not frames. So you obviously have internet bandwidth issues and not GPU issues.

I suggest upgrading your internet, that is your problem and it has nothing to do with the GPU or other parts of your computer!

I've noticed flash-based web games are almost 100% dependent on CPU speed. The fastest single thread you can throw at it.

This means an Intel chip (sorry AMD) and the most recent + fastest you can afford. Even an i3.

I believe more recent versions of Flash Player have an option for "hardware acceleration" which offloads rendering to the GPU? I don't know if its of much use, but is Flash Player just becoming bloatware? I remember in 2011, Flash worked perfectly on a single-thread P4. Now it struggles even on multi-core systems. Whats causing Flash Player to become less efficient every update?

the card is not running at full speed on the part with some GPU load... something is not right,

your card should be running at 157/300 when not being loaded, and 700/1150 when running a game, still with such a low GPU load I would think whatever you are playing is not being limited by the graphics card.

Its not like a GTX 750 is very expensive. Your CPU is not too bad either.

Also, I don't remember seing a quadruple post on a forum 😉
