Getting ABIT IC7 Soon, but I need help from someone if they could let me know, it would save me some $$ today.

1. Does the ABIT IC7, NON-G Version come with Round IDE cables, or is that only the IC7-G version?

2. For the Optical Audio Out option, is that a Coaxial Out, or a Toslink Cable output connection???

If anyone can help me out soon, that would rock, as I'm going out now to buy accessories for this MB. I've tried going on ABIT's Site to look for info, and there nor very clear about this.

Thanks a million.

Just got my IC7 (non-G)
one rounded ID cable with Mobo, slave and master connectors
one rounded floppy cable
2 SATA cables 50cm. 1st gen.
2 SATA power cables.

Toslink SP/DIFs (no cables included)

Hope this helps.

Man you have no idea how much this helps;

Just a follow up question.

1. How long is that IDE Round cable, would you say its 12" or 18" long?

Thanks for letting me know about the Toslink connection, as my 'Older' Denon Home Theater Receiver has 3 unused Optical In Toslink connections.

The other thing maybe you could help me out with, or not; is right now I have the original SB Live with the Digital I/O riser Card. And on this card there are Optical SP/DIFs connections. I'm just wondering if I was going to install this card in my IC7 and hook it up to my Home Theater Reciever via the Optical link, do you think I would get better sound with the SB Live OR with the Onboard IC7 6-Channel and its Toslink to my Receiver?

Sorry-been away for awhile.
IDE cable is 18": 12" to slave connector, another 6" to master connector
I think you'd probably get better results with the onboard sound. The SB Live is pretty old, I've got one too but I plan on using the Abit's own sound. Also, I want to avoid Creative's drivers...
