Ok, I'm making a presentation for TOMORROW -- and I need some help.

Here's what I want to do. I have a show with about 15 slides. I have inserted an "action button" on each slide, so that whenever I want I can just click it and go back to the first slide, which is an intro slide. However, I have a question about the timings. What I want is this:

I want the slides 2-15 to run as a show, looping continuously (without my interaction) from 2, 3, 4, 5...15, and then back to 2. Not back to the first slide in the show, but back to 2, and then loop again. And since I have an action button on each slide I can go back to the home slide whenever I want. But when I go back to the home slide, I don't want it to go into the 2 --> 15 loop until I click.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

You can do that using custom shows. Basically you would set up a custom show containing slides 2-15 and set their timings. Slide 1 would not be included in the show, but you should still be able to jump to it using the action button you set up.

Then you would have another action button on slide 1 and point a hyperlink to your custom show, which should then begin its continuous loop as programmed. The action button on each slide would link back to the first slide, which isn't part of the show.

Try that. You can create a custom show from the Slide Show menu.

Good luck! If you don't mind my asking, what's this for anyway? School, work?
