Urgent Please Help ..my comp just turned off and wont turn back on

ok I was playing WoW and listening to music and all of a sudden my computer just turned off on me.. and now it wont even turn back on..

early in the morning while i was playing i smelt something ..idk what it was but it smelt like burnt rubber or something.. idk if it came from my comp or from outside..cuz i didnt smell it after a while.. and my cpu was 45-50 degrees when i smelt that smell so idk.

But i seriusly need help. idk if its my powersupply or my mobo or processor or w/e.. i jsut need to replace it asap

how would i be able to tell which is the issue cuz i dont have a spare psu that supports my hardware

processor is a 2.4 celeron w/ 400w psu and Biostar p4m80-m4
i have 1 gig and a 256..of ram
a Diablotek 256 AGP 8x video card
2 hard drives ...a 20gig and an 70 gig i believe
 
If it's a click-button, hear nothing failure could be the psu, yea.

take the mobo connector from the psu, bridge the green wire to any ground (black) wire with a paper clip. If it fails to power up you know what the problem is. Note: dont' keep it running like this. some psu's are damaged if you run them with no load at all.
