I need a TOP quality PSU for this, please help me find one. TIA

also, forgot where i saw this, maybe from this forum, enermax modu82+ 525w is supposed to be dead quiet, it's also modular

That's what I'm wondering. Need guaranteed uptime? Best consumer oriented part? How about just something that won't blow up in your rig like that $20 650W unit that you're replacing?

Hey, I actually bought a cheap, $30 PSU for my old PC -- a Fortron 350W (Sparkle?) and it's been going strong for 2 years now.

Fortron always made nice and reliabile PSUs. i've been through 3 video card upgrades over the past 3 years with my Fortron PSU. x1900xt, 8800gts 640, 8800gt. still going strong.
