Gasoline will float on top of the water will it not? Making your idea totally worthless?

MowSow, have you tried the typical hyrochloric solutions like Drano or The Works?

I cna't use that stuff till the water go through ...but I will try it ..

sorry, was meant to be a joke/bump for the thread... i am in nyc and have no idea about san diego plumbers.

if its a drain to septic tank gasoline + match = kaboom... no more drains thus no more plumbing problem :D

Why not go to a place that rents tools and rent a &quot;fish&quot; and do it yourself....you'll save a bundle and it's relatively easy. You know what a fish is...that long coil of metal that is more or less a tightly wound spring.That is what the plumber will use for 10 mins to unclog the pipe and then charge you $100.....kapiche?
