URGENT! Major cooling problems!!!

I just moved from another place where i could keep the cpu temp just below 35dC, they are under constant load working with audio streaming. Now they are above 45-50dC, the machine isn't freezing, it's just peak loads that never happened to me before... i get distortion and wierd sounds, and the cpu meter climbs to red often. so i would think so, yeah

Can you put the cpu in another (cooler!) room or closet? Then run really long cables for input/output/control.

buy a small A/c unit, and pipe the cool air through a duct to your input fan. (cardboard + duct-tape = duct)

(yes, I know noise is an issue...but you may be able to find someplace to put it, that doesn't create a problem).

Water cooling, with all of the above. Liquid cooling takes a while to get setup and tested--aren't you in a big hurry?

well yeah--- good idea... but my problem with lenght of the daisy chain is still there, 30feet is the max... but i figured out a way, you know those small picknic cooling boxes? camping stuff? i could start by getting one of those, make a hole and blow cool air into the machine, and when i have the time, build somekind of radiator that cools down water inside the box, and put water cooling on the cpu's... thanks anyway...

Good idea:

Large styrofoam camping cooler, 2 bags of ice.
Hole is one end of styrofoam, ducted to fan intake on case.
Hole in the other end of styrofoam (a little smaller) to let air in.
Depending on the CFM going through the styrofoam, you may not get as much coolness as desired. Perhaps two coolers on top of each other, with air in through the top one, down into the bottom one, and then into the case? Ice in top & bottom coolers?

Starting to sound like fun, now 🙂
