Yea, I was tryin to put my computer somewhere els in the house so I unplugged everything and plugged it back in now it won't work. It' says it is not connected to the Internet.

I have broadband Road Runner High speed.

Check the path of the cables. The cables must go through a cable modem for the connection to work. If you moved the computer but not the cable modem, the signal won't work properly, and may be what's giving you the signal.
Also, make sure that you plugged the internet connection cord into the same location in the computer rear. I have a DFI Lanparty board and it has 2 Lan connectors in the rear. If you plugged it into one, then used the other after moving it, but the second doesn't have drivers installed, it won't function.

I am using a dell 4700. It only has one connection. I'm pretty sure the cables are right but I will mess around with it a bit.

I think it has to do with something about the actual windows connection and IE. Although it willnot work for anything. As you can see it works for this computer.

If you lost your internet connection, how are you checking this forum? 😉 Make sure your pluged into the router properly... if your connection coming in is say in an uplink port, it may not work... try moving the ethernet cables to different ports on your router.

Ok, I've tried evrything. I believe it's time to make a call to Time Warner.

Before I do, anyone els have any suggstions?
