Ok i am planning to buy new gfx card for about $150
i saw a gr8 deal on eBay, very reputable seller.

ATI 9800 PRO 256MB

It says brand new and all.

My question to you is that, Do i need any more cable or anything else to buy after buying this to make it work? Plz help me. If so what cable/something i need to buy to make it work?

Your help will be appreciated.

Thank You.

well technically you don't need any extra cable since a molex splitter cable is included. but it's recommended to have one extra molex connector from your psu for this card

Well, whatever floats your boat, just saying there are better video cards out there for the price.

EDIT-good point, hadn't even considered PCI-E vs. AGP. It's not a bad deal, either. Just not the best I've seen recently.

x800gto agp 🙂 = faster in most cases than 6600gt = 180ish
6600gt agp 🙂 = awesome cheapy card that can beat the crap out of 9800pro $140 - $160 at retail
9800pro agp ;( = old, outdated

high

Ok i guess i can buy 400watts PS from Amazon. now is X700 Pro AGP better then X600 and 66ooGT? i don't want to spend so much money on it. i am getting X700Pro AGP for $99. Please Help.

If you don't want to upgrade your power, buy a 6600GT, take a lot less power then a 9800pro and is faster then 9800pro and X700 cards. If you do upgrade your power you might be able to get something faster for a little more money (X800GTO, 6800GS).
