URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!

My computer froze so I turned it off and then on again but it just came up with a black screen so I cleared the CMOS and rebooted and now it just comes up with the DFI Lanparty logo and dosen't change, what should I do????

Please Help!
 
Try unplugging everything you don't need to boot up and then see what happens

(keep memory, CPU, heatsink, videocard, psu attached to motherboard)
 
If clearing the CMOS doesn't help, then you can take the mobo battery out, unplug the PSU, press the power switch to drain the capacitors and then wait for a few hours. You can give that a shot.

How do I take the Motherboard battery out?

It looks like a big watch battery. I think the connection mechanism differs from board to board so you'll have to see what's keeping it in.
 
On the DFI LanParty NF4 the CMOS battery is located just to the bottom-right of the chipset fan (assuming the board is oriented with the RAM slots at the top and the ATX ports at the left). It's a round metal disc in a yellow socket, right below the nVidia SATA ports. It's held in by a spring-clip at the top. Press that little metal catch upwards and pop the battery out.

This will force the CMOS to clear if for some reason it's not responding to the clear-CMOS jumper.
 
I got it to work again!!!!!!!!!!🙂 But only with 1 memory stick in, it works with one memory stick on it's own but not the other one on it's own and it doesn't work with both. Is there anyway of making it work with both or do I just need to send the one that doesn't work back (as I only got all the parts 3 and a half weeks ago) and get a replacement??
