Oop! Any grocery store should already have Sunday's newspaper, which includes CC ads.

Not a hot deal.

Ads are always a hot deal, especially when early.

Not a hot deal...

From the stickied post at the top of the forum:

What is a Hot Deal? Here are a few examples:
A discount coupon on a vendor's site.

Info about a good "price match + rebate" situation.

Links to store ads and reposts of store ads, especially if they contain a really great deal. You might include a "heads up" about the specific deal in the thread title and/or your post.

I've marked the important part, for the thick among us.

this started off no different from any IWANNA post. therefore it should've been locked and thrown away. Ads are hot deals, begging for help isnt. we already have a dedicated thread for beggars.

still cant believe a diamond member would do this.

So tell us, what is this hot deal at CC then?

Ne parle anglais?

Just because the ad doesn't have any praticular hot deals does not mean it can't be posted in Hot Deals. The act of the ad being posted a day early qualifies it per the rules. Which I posted.

Have you looked at that thread you are talking about, it's downright worthless imho. Not arguing that we should allow this forum to be cluttered up with useless people asking for things.

I imagine the fact that the ads were posted saved this thread from purgatory.

Our endless bickering, however, has probably cursed it.

You are trying too hard to justify something that is simply not hot at all. Take a look at Vonkhan's posting history in this forum. I guess we can all post ads the night before the ad comes out then? I'm done here, have a nice day justifying clutter.

Gee, guess what? That's what the rules say. I'm not going to bother quoting again, just look above. Ads are hot deals. Period. End of discussion. Even after their available, let alone the night before.

Now as to the hotness of the deals, your name is not Moderator nor is Ferengi your title.

/me is tired of the so-called 'Hot Deals' police.
