With Mullen headed back to UF, we will once again suck. I enjoy going bowling once every 5 to 10 years. Recruiting will tank and we'll fighting with Ole Miss for last place in the West.

Absolutely this. He wanted to come back and see if he could win without Tebow; he couldn't. Of course he wasn't in it this season, he did have an "I-Win" button. It's quite a bit easier to be "in it" when you have arguably one of the best college QB to ever step foot on the field (with a solid surrounding cast).

Leak was definitely worse than Tebow, but hardly an average QB at the time. I mean, he broke some of Wuerffel's records that year, didn't he?

<edit> Also, I wasn't trying to say Urban is a bad coach, he isn't; he's a good coach. However, around the state he's considered a God in many places, and he simply isn't THAT good of a coach.

I don't know what you were TRYING to say, but what you said was pretty dumb. Look at the guys entire record. It is amazing, and anyone trying to say that the guy isn't a fantastic coach is a fool. All this year proved is that he had a pretty significant emotional/psychological break down in 2009 and has not recovered yet. This year was a complete clusterfuck, but it obviously has no bearing on what he has done before.

He has been a head coach for 9 years with nearly half of these years with a team that had so much talent on it that it would have been hard NOT to win. Again, he's obviously got the stats, but I still disagree with the image he's given around the state of Florida. If he coached for another 10 years with continued success, then I'd say something. The most impressive work he did was at Bowling Green and Utah - I would have loved to see what he could have done if he stayed there, but as it is, it was still single years.
