Imagine being this much of a loser...
Go Granny, go! That's awesome.
This is why Asian kids are taught to respect their elders. You just never know when they'll open a can of woo-pass on you.
I've lived in the SF Bay Area for over 50 years. My absolute favorite place by far is Oakland's Chinatown. Just walking the streets there puts me in a great mood. There are lots of old Chinese people shuffling down the sidewalks, shopping, whatever (kids too and whomever, a potpourri). The shops are not run by money grubbing capitalists, the people (Chinese) who run them are down to earth community loving people who don't wear their politics or neuroses on their sleeves, or have any, near as I can tell. I like to wander into their shops and glance around, sometimes I buy stuff. It's a little part of Asia, it doesn't feel like America and maybe that's why I like it so much. I feel transported to another place. Everywhere else, it's America. I don't go a lot, but have been dozens and dozens of times, usually on my bicycle. I really love the place. I'm really sad that these attacks are going on. It's just incomprehensible to me that people hate on old Asian immigrants here. They are sweet people, harmless, unassuming.
