UPS tracking question

Can a package be in transit for over 5 days? Granted it's not predicted to arrive at my door for another 4 days but the tracker hasn't updated in 5 days...

this happened to me. If it does not come by the date it says then I would call. But meh I even had a fedex tracker say "tracking status will be continued on blah blah"

I had UPS deliver something today, the status hasn't been updated in a day and it didn't say it was in my city and out for delivery, but amazingly enough it still showed up. Looking at the tracking right now it just went from Vernon to delivered. There should have been 2 hubs in between. Sometimes the tracking updates don't update at all.
