I bought a car out of state and long story short I had to get the title overnighted back to my house (dont ask why). So the dealer sent it overnight yesterday via UPS next day air. So I get a call at 9am from some old lady who lives a half hour from me saying she has the title for my car, i was like WTF? So I go and pick it up, I was really lucky that she was nice enough to call me....

Anyways, now when I go to UPS tracking it still says in transit. I'm going to assume its going to be like that forever since I already have the package. I wonder if it was insured for the amount I paid for the car....

You gotta remember UPS is the braintrust that decided it would be better to let their employees go on strike for quite some time then to pay them a fair wage. If they had thought about it they would have realized that a strike was going to cost them so much business that they would lose more in the long run then if they just did the right thing.
My employer will not use UPS at all. Everything goes Fedex. And if I have a choice at all I'll pick anything but UPS.

yup, it's *Official*-

Last week, a Dell computer was being delivered to my house for my gf, ended up being delivered 10 miles away-

Just so happens I KNEW the people who recieved the package (that day, they recieved 3 other dell boxes), but regardless, ups.com said they signed my name, which in fact, they did not-

Some years back I ordered some stuff to build a PC for a buddy. The case was delivered by UPS to the local public school distric office! I don't even remember how I tracked it down, but luckily for me, it was a few blocks away. The sad thing is that the sig had been faked by the lazy driver, and the people at the district office, not knowing what it was, simply left it in a corner (forget trying to track me down, lazy SOBs).
