UPS sucks ass part 214405

this is my newest UPS sucks rant. I was supposed to get my sprint cellular modem . UPS sends it next day air, but i wasnt home 3 days in a row so they put it on hold at the warehouse 20 miles away. So i drive to downtown LA to get it. They told me i had 5 days to get it, and today was the 3rd day. I wait inline as some yuppie woman ships like 20 boxes (literally) and talk to the other customers about how ups sucks ass and how this woman is an inconsiderate person. she could have had that crap picked up, and she didnt even know their policies so it too soooo long. Then i give them my slip. And they go, oh this got send back already. I go what? you guys said 5 days, and they go ... uh it was next day air so it got sent back more quickly. Basically wasted an hour of my life. thank you UPS.

I think what you needed to do (especially if you knew you wouldn't be home when the UPS guy showed up to deliver), was call their 800 number and make arrangements to pick it up. If you do that, they won't send it back (at least I think they won't). Or can't you sign the slip and have them leave it? Granted, it was a valuable little shipment, so maybe you wouldn't want to do that.

Let's hope UPS doesn't eff up my Fong-Kai though.
