UPS Shipping question

I ordered some stuff and it is getting delivered to me on Tuesday. But I need it early in the day Tuesday and my UPS guy doesnt come until about 4 or 5 in the afternoon which is wayyyy too late in the day. I live a mile away from the local distribution center for UPS. Do you guys know if I can call UPS and have them change it from a home delivery to a pick up at the distro center?
 
ya, it was kinda of a stupid question i guess......but in a way it wasnt. I mean whats the harm in calling them? Worst thing they can say is no right?


I know that it will get to the local distribution center tomorrow. So I dont see why the people who i would call cant call the distro center and tell them that the package is a pickup instead, give them my phone # (so they can call when it gets there). IMO they would rather the package be a pick up cuz then its less work for their people and one less drop off for the driver.
