UPS selection

I'm having trouble selecting a UPS. How do I know the load?
For example, If my power supply is 250W and my monitor runs @ 90W max, is the load 250W + 90W?
(I only need UPS for the monitor and console - 15" and PIII )

What's the difference between VA and Watts?

Well i'm running 2 pc's two monitors on one 450VA UPS so that should be enough.

How much back-up time do you get with that configuration?

Does anyone know about MGE UPS? Are their UPSs reliable?

Some UPS's don't generate a true sine wave; you might run into some problems with those.

I have a 300W PS + 19" monitor on an APC Back-UPS Pro USB 500VA UPS with 10 minutes. This one is nice because it has autoshutdown via USB.
