Have something being delivered tomorrow according to UPS site. Seems to have taken about 6 days to get here.

Dang diamonds, always double-posting!!

99% of the time, when UPS says they're going to deliver it on a specific day, it's correct (or, at least, has been for me). Only once when I expected a package, did they screw up (it went from it's point of origin, to Texas, where it should have come to me......but they goofed, and forwarded it to New Orleans, who said WTF?, and shot it back to TX!!). That package was 2 days late, but when I asked about getting compensation for the delay, they stated that ground shipping was 3 to 7 days, and they got it here in 6 (even though it should've only taken 4).

Of course, YMMV. :)

From personal experience it's about 90% accurate.

Once they delivered a package one day before the estimated delivery date.

WTF!? It's always been on time for me, if not late a day. But they'll reschedule it when it's obvious. You can tell sometimes too.

Ground only takes 5 days to get acrosst he nation, so how could you be 3 - 4 days off? That would be insane.

Delivered on: 06/13/2007 2:56 P.M.

The packaging looked great from the outside but they took the item placed it at the bottom of the box and put airspeed 5000 air bags on top. This is the second time that someone has done that.

Shouldn't protection be on the bottom as well ?

Some people just don't think huh? I think the bottom is always less cushioned than it should be. When I go to Longs to get stuff boxed they just throw my crap into a box and pile peanuts on it.

My last newegg order came with the mobo on the bottom and a powersupply on top of it crushing the mobo box and peanuts on top. Luckily everything worked.

100% accurate...if they think they will deliver it late, they change the delivery date :p.

FedEx Express saver ALWAYS delivers 1 day earlier (2 days instead of 3).

That's honestly the first time I've heard this with UPS. I've never had UPS deliver something before the delivery date.

With FedEX, otoh, packages usually come a day or so early.

When shipping items I always want the protection to all around the item. I fill the bottom and then place the stuff on top of them and then fill all around.

The other bad thing is the box that this was shipped in was to small so they had to bend the item to force it in....I hope it works.
