UPS says my tracking number is invalid

Okay, so im getting my rma from evga via overnight shipping with ups. They gave me a tracking number by email and i tried it on the ups site. no workey.

so i think its probably just a typo and go to evga's track rma thing to get my tracking number. still no workey.

So does UPS not enter the package into their database until they have started shipping or something? They gave the tracking number out already, so i thought at least it would say pending shipping or soemthing...

any thoughts?
 
Does it say "invalid," or does it say there is no record of that item? They are different. If it says "invalid," it's probably a typo b/c UPS tracking numbers follow a specific algorithm.

I belive that means it's just not in the system yet.
 
ah, okay so you guys just think its not in the system yet? how long should it take? I mean they don't have long for next day air....

has this happend do any of you guys?
