UPS question

I'm at work and UPS made a delivery attempt today but no one was home. The status page says it is scheduled for another delivery attempt tomorrow. The problem is that no one is going to be home any weekday of this week and I am leaving on Friday and need the package before then if at all possible. Can I pick it up wherever it is being held?

Call up the number on the slip that they leave for you, and ask. Usually they will allow you to pick it up at a drop location.

you dont need the slip just call them up Customer service
with the tracking number to make sure you can pick it up before

they usually will let you

You must call them and tell them you want to pick it up.
they will give you their hours and you can stop by tomorrow as long as you call them today.
I have done this numerous times.

You could either pick it up or have the ship-to address changed to someplace you will be. After the first failed attempt they allow you to change the destination address.

Speaking of UPS... they suck so much now. It's taking them 4 days to get from New Jersey to Michigan and FedEx can do it in less than 48 hours. The package went to western Illinois before backtracking and heading north to Michigan... what sense does that make? That's like 300 miles off-course.

Hating UPS.

Just give them a call and change your delivery to customer pickup. Simple process. Just remeber to ask them for their hours, my UPS location doesn't allow pickups until after 2:00pm.

sneak into their warehouse late at night all ninja-like. its the same outcome. they dont have your package, but you do.
