UPS question about tracking...

sent a package ups and tracked it. right now it says:

INCOMPLETE ADDRESS, NOT DELIVERED;POSTCARD HAS BEEN SENT

what does that mean?
i understand "incomplete address" though i know it was complete and legible (i have people when i send it check, becuase my handwriting stinks)
what is this postcard of which they speak?

ok. fixed. it was becuase the road my friend lived on was New Road and my address is 123 ___________ and the package was (apparently) suspicious.
