UPS + Newegg = gahhhhh

Ordered a computer from Newegg. Case ships from CA, components ship from memphis TN. Both on the 3rd with UPS "Guaranteed" 3 Day.

The parts come on time on the 6th
THe case, coming from CA, wont be here until the 9th? 😕

Edit: The unholy union of dung known as Newegg and UPS continues to disappoint. My delayed package is still sitting in their base, not yet out for delivery as of 10:00 am.
 
Yes. Even thought this kind of complain has been posted numerous times, and I've commented on it still numerous times. I'll still say it again, NewEgg has gone to sh!t in a hand basket. I'll miss the company they were before anyone knew who they were
 
That's strange. About two months ago I ordered a 50 pack of DVD+Rs and they were here less than 48 hours after I ordered them. I'm sure they got here so fast because I live in CA, but still, two days is very impressive and it was UPS.

I expected a new printer today. It was scheduled for delivery today. It is reported to be out for delivery today. Shipped from TN.

Do you have a calendar?

Same thing with my shipment from NJ. 1 day late.

If UPS comes tonight I'll take it back but it has never been this late.

If you track your order at Newegg, I think you'll find that the problem is on Newegg's end. They are not packing and shipping the orders out as fast as they used to. Either that, or UPS is only picking up twice a week or something.

I'm not defending UPS here.

I place an order late afternoon Monday EST and not thinking, stupidly paid the $2.99 for super rush order or whatever they term it. The order was not picked and packed until Wednesday morning. It shipped Thursday afternoon.

I place another order a few days later and UPS decided to ship it ground instead of the 3 day shipping I paid for. Who's fault? Doesn't matter to me. ZZF's shipping has been phenomenal for me. Time to move on.

The departure times were almost identical
 
I used to place an order and it was packed that day and usually shipped that day or early the next morning.

Now, it lingers for 24 to 36 hours before ANYTHING is done with it. UPS delivery is bad for me, but Newegg is dropping the ball. Maybe after many years of ordering from them I'm just spoiled. But they spoled me. I've come to expect that level of service.

UPS is great here if they ship from CA- then I get it the day after they ship.
 
i always have more issues with fedex than UPS.

a LOT more.

especially lost packages, or packages that arent delivered when they are supposed to be.
 
Even though it's more expensive, I still pick Fedex. They are faster and actually track my shipments, unlike everyone else. Once had a Fedex Express Saver that showed up THE NEXT DAY, and I ordered on a Friday. How great is that?
 
I don't buy from them as much. I'm looking elsewhere and if everyone starts to do this newegg should hopefully notice instead of ignoring us.
 
Just yesterday I bought my new htpc. I had chosen all the parts from newegg. When I saw the shipping I was like "WTH is going?", then I checked that it was UPS 3 day guaranteed and that almost every item had a shpping fee (it's been a while since I have ordered from newegg and the last time they had at least some items with free shipping). After this, I did some price comparison ( with zipzomfly and mwave) and I found out it would be cheaper by using them than buying everything from newegg. Especially Zipzoomfly has free Fedex 2nd day shipping. In the end, a purchase of $1000 that would have gone to newegg became only one of a hundred dollars (newegg was the only with the case that I wanted). It's sad that newegg has gone down the crapper so fast. The irony is that I was cleaning my room today and I found an old PC World magazine from 2003 when newegg started advertising in magazines and they listed some product prices and all of them had free shipping on them (even some huge cases). Now, newegg has become just "another" company for me. It stopped being my first choice. Now, it's Zipzoomfly FTW 😀
