UPS just removed "On Time" from my package

I've been tracking a package coming via UPS from Sunnydale, CA to PA. It was shipped last Thursday night with a scheduled delivery date of this Wednesday (seems long to me, but whatever). Either way the status always said "In Transit - On Time," and the details listed the delivery date, the type (ground), and the delivery town.

Now I checked it and the status just says "In Transit" and the details only show Type: Ground (delivery date and town are not listed). For those of you who have shipped with UPS much, does this actually mean they don't expect it to be on time now?

UPDATE: Apparently it sat in one city for three days. That's just ridiculous.

This same thing happened to me one time and my package showed up with 4 taped up tennis ball sized holes in it, smooshed to sh1t, and lots of visible water damage.

No opinions here, just believe me when I tell you it's fine. You tracking information was last updated Friday night/Sat morning. You should have another update Monday night. Nothing to worry about.

Sometimes people that work at the post office will miss a package. Even with express mail which cost like 30+ bucks. Dont worry though as they are very very strick about it. I had a friend who used to work at UPS; when he missed a package once, they sent him home for 4 days to "think about it." 2nd mistake = fired.

It mean a intergalatic overlord decided to regin his horror on the UPS bus, as the MIB uses photon phaser to back off the overload and his legions of terror. the president calls a code red right as he is killed, and nuke launch off agaisnt he overlord which creates a netherdemnsional hole. and... wait... what were we originally talking about again?

Yeah it's back to normal for me, too. That'd be nice if it came a day early as six days is just ridiculous.

Didn't have a choice. USPS got it across country in under three days.

Okay UPS fvcking sucks. Friday night it was scanned for arrival in Hodgkins, IL. Just now it got the departure scan from that same city. It fvcking sat there for three days doing nothing? Is that normal? They honestly mean to tell me they don't move packages over the weekend.

Fedex, DHL etc.. will move a package as fast as possible and even deliver early while UPS ground will let your package sit in the same spot for several days and never ever deliver early.

Why is that permissible when their competitors DO.
