oh my god, i am so pissed. the stupid delivery person didn't even bother to read the dam address before heading in. this all started because my neighbor who lives next to me at 3301, and i live at 3302, anyways, he gets alot of shipment by ups, and not many by me. last time i order something from ups, the guy went to his house cuz he said he assume it was his agian, but realize it wasn't that time. but today, this guy didn't even bother to read the address as it states 3302! freaken #$@#% guy left a notice on his house with MY NAME saying missed attempted. i even saw him leaving his house, and i walked out yelling at him, but he was long gone, and not lookin my way!!! that mofo spent a whole 30sec and left! i heard the truck outside, and went to check if it was ups, yup it was, but by the time i walked to door, he was already walkin back to his truck and leaving! #@%@#$^#^%@%$

WTF! that guy needs to be fired! read the dam address before u deliver! now i have to wait till MONDAY to get my wd120 🙁 anyways, i ordered the wd dell deal last week, and there was alot of talk about it being 30 day warrenty, does that warrenty start last week, which i order on the 20th and shipped 21st, or does it start when i get the drive, which is not till next monday!!!!!! dam you ups!
 
Dell supposedly sells those HD's as reconditioned parts which carry a 90-day limited warranty. It starts on the invoice date, which is the same as the day you ordered it.
 
We've had the same UPS guy here for YEARS. He knows us by name, too.. and we've never had a problem like that...
 
around here, even and odd numbered houses are on opposite sides of the street. even numbers on the east, odd on the west. you said this neighbor lived next to you?

i just called ups to nag and b!tch, and they do have the correct address of 3302 in their records, and said that the stupid delivery person just went to wrong address. and he even wrote that attempt to 3301 was not there back to his local office! that delivery person didn't even bother to check his record that he went to wrong house!!! dont tell me he is blind, becuase my neighbor has this huge address sign that says "3301" right next to his door!!!! noooooooooo, i dont want to wait 3 more days! thats july 3rd!!! if that fails, they wont ship on july 4th, meaning it could be 5th incase i can't make it on monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man, i hope the supvisor got my rant and let that deliver person hear it!!!!

can any1 confirm that my 30 day warrently started 8 days ago already? damit! that means i only going to get like 19 days to test my drive before its out of warrently? freaken NOOO!! but yea, the street is even/odd meaning my neighbor was accross my street. the street is like 25 feet apart so i guess its still consider next? speaking of oppsite, the drivers side of truck was on my side of street too and that fool still didn't hear me. 🙁
 
My UPS guy is a black dude named X, how cool is that? 😀

Never had a problem with them (other than they have this really old lady (60+) working at the counter and she can't handle the big packages people bring in and she is SO SLOW).
 
I had a failed delivery attempt today. I called and they said you can't pick it up on the same day as a delivery atempt. Once I got a hold of the Local office they said it was no problem at all, and I could come by at 6:30 and pickup it up.

why the hell would you get your drive on july 3rd? *GASP* isnt monday a normal business day?

and if youre so pissed, why didnt you pay extra for fedex?
 
UPS is the worst. They left my 17inch monitor on the EDGE of my front porch in the snow when I got it this winter.

I love FedEx... the guy who drives the truck also knows me by name now too. NEVER had a problem with FedEx but I will avoid UPS like the plague when at all possible.

When I got my Chieftec case from Directron (great company btw 😉) UPS gave it to someone WAY down the street...my number is 955, and hers was like 1200 something..stupid person. Anyways, the lady was, luckily, really nice and drive it to my house when she saw who's it really was. Rar, at least she was nice...
