Screw you, nascar rules:)

The new logo looks good, now they need to do something about the handling part of the business.

UPS is spending $100million to repaint trucks, planes, etc. for the new logo. This logo change announcement came after they came under fire for wanting to lay off thousands of workers.

UPS' new logo doesn't mean anything to me.
What they can do is lower their rates then I'll be happy :D

I expected seeing a logo with a little stick man drop-kicking a package. :D

Prefer the old one.
But either way I despise the inability of UPS to get a parcel to me in one delivery.

actually, jerk, us "warehouse boys" as you so arrogantly put it, have no forklifts. thus, we carry the 150 lb boxes up to the trucks ourselves. get a clue about what you're talking about before bashing it. personally, i don't know how ANYONE gets their package on time after seeing the process they go through.

For a period of about a year, all the packages addressed to my wife had these little sea creatures drawn on them with a marker. They were from different senders, so it must have been someone at UPS. Creepy . . .

has anyone here ever realized that the 'E' and the 'x' of the FedEx logo form an arrow with the white space?

...we talked about it in my advertising class, now it's the only thing i see when i look at that logo

Whoa, I never noticed that... I think it was probably an accidental result of their name rather than a name formed around an intentional logo

Then stop tossing around the damn packages. Admit it...sometimes you get your jollies from hurling packages marked "Fragile." Maybe you are the one who handled my speaker that had a 2 INCH HOLE POKED RIGHT THROUGH THE MIDRANGE DRIVER! :p
I'm just joking...I got nothing against the warehouse guys personally, just UPS as a whole.

I haven't used UPS in almost 2 years. FedEx never sends me a damaged and/or late packages. Same with the postal service. UPS is just horrible. I've had nothing but bad experiences with them. I'm sure some people have had good experiences, but I'm sure you could go to any forum where a lot of trades are made (this one included) and find out that in general, people loathe UPS and won't use them.

Agreed. I work there and i can't understand why people send some of the things they do through there. I've heard many a bad thing about fedex/usps as well, mostly ups though. i just hate it when they complain and continue to use it. Oh, and it helps if you know how to pack a fricken package as well.

Sure i've tossed packages out of frustration of idiotic upper management not properly staffing. I will say that O, personally, have never destroyed a package just to piss off/screw the recipient. I'm sure it happens, at ANY shipping service. Its really pretty impressive the amount of packages that go through a given hub. oh, btw, a lot of times its not the employee that caused the damage to the package but the other packages themselves that get bunched up and smashed on the belts. not always though
