UPS Ground Delivery Hours

Anyone know the UPS Ground delivery hours? I love that my wife and I took turns waiting all day for a delivery only to see 5pm come and go with no package.

PS- I have had FedEx NOT ATTEMPT delivery two days in a row for one package!

UPS can come as late as 9PM. But instead of the regular UPS guy/girl, they use mexicans.

You know... I've never had a girl come deliver my package from any shipping company...

Aww 🙁 or 🙂.

Has the number of days for the package to be delieverd expired yet? The will frequently hold "ground" boxes as the dist. site to deliver next day/2 day packages first, sometimes for days until the last day it's supposed to arrive.

Thanks, guess more waiting for me. I guess I wish they gave a better delivery window than the entire day.

You know you can just call the place, have them hold your package at will call and you can pick it up at like 9AM, right?

If I know I'm going to be expecting something and I've got stuff to do - thats what I do./

Yours was probably in the truck that was in the accident and burned to the ground. All packages were destroyed.

OR

Your package was probably one of the ones that fell out of the back of the truck and were picked up by the scavengers...

It depends on where UPS holds his package, though. If it's out of the way for him it might not really be worth it.

There is a tremendous amount of commerce involved in residential delivery of packages, but UPS takes care of its business to business customers first. What this means is that the driver has his daily scheduled stops at businesses on his route, then he takes care of his residential stops. This can vary, but generally drivers are more likely to have a residential customer physically receive a package after 4 pm.

FedEx seems to route their deliveries differently, and in my experience I receive FedEx deliveries in the morning, and UPS after 6 pm.

MOST of the time, UPS delivers to my house by 10 a.m., unless it's something I'm REALLY waiting for...then they seem to know it, and deliver around 4 p.m....Fed-Ex usally delivers by noon, with an occasional package later...by 5 p.m.
