UPS drivers make on average $74,000

they have move move/deliver boxes too. a life of back problems aren't worth any amount of money.

calling BS on that. My uncle has been a driver since he was 18 and said he doesn't know how the new drivers do it making so little.

Maybe the old timers average that, but there ain't a chance in hell the "average" driver is making that much

from what i heard you have to work there forever before you can be a driver... thats a lot of 4 hour shifts before you can start taking it easy and working full days

Wow, and I make 45k or so and work in a crazy environment with a crazy IT manager who likes to poison said environment even more. Mind you the job would not be all that bad if he was gone.

I bet you wouldn't think it was so easy if you actually did it.

They work long hours, have to bust their ass, and have a pretty stressful day.

And while the $74k average sounds like a lot, I assure you comparable salaries would be higher. A driver in a a given metro area probably is not making as much as many other professions.

also, i wish id gone to fuck-college instead of junior-college 🙂

I was going to make a comment about junior-fuck-college, but it just sounds a bit too pedobear. Though in reality he'd probablly be all like "too old *angry glare*" because it would be filled with 18-20 and older people learning their way through fuck-college on the cheap.

WEEEEE!

If UPS offered shitty pay for drivers, they'd just make it up in other areas at customer's expense.

that's a pretty fucked up way to think...and at $74k average for driving around that's really beyond shitty by a magnitude.

Have you looked into the jobs that pay that average?

How much will an illegal be willing to work for? 3 dollars an hour?
