UPS and collect on deliver service

Ok, so I bought some parts on here COD from someone I talk to all the time. I and he agreed on COD, and it is supposed to arrive tommorrow, however, something has come up and I may not be around ALL day waiting for UPS to show.

If I am not there and they show up, will they take it to a local UPS store and leave it there, or will they try to re-deliver, or will they return to sender?

they MAY try to deliver again, depends on their route and if they go past you again that day. if they dont im sure it will go back to the distribution site, not a UPS store.

im sure its possible for them to just hold and and you can pick it up. will have to go to the distribution center though.
