Absolutely best customer support I've ever seen from a company over the past 3-4 years. v4 of their software is coming out soon, supporting push-to functions from Android devices, etc.
well Windows Media Player 12 does it out of the box... it just has to be open...
Did you read that thread? Yes, its opened once the Desktop Experience is installed but its UPnP/DLNA server doesn't seem to work. Ive done this as well and it isn't visible to the network.

Have you tested this yourself?
It has a whole bunch of other "buts" like you (strangely) have to join a domain to use that pack and enable streaming.i admit i haven't tested this out myself. it was just a quick google. on the other hand, so was this.
should fix the streaming problem with windows server 2012. (from microsoft)
Besides, Mezzmo is there anything else? I perfer free BTW...
Is TVersity still around? That's what I used before experimenting and switching to Mezzmo.
Just use Plex or Serviio. Both are free. Either work really well.Yup but it isnt free.

I use Serviio a lot, it rules.
Someone is on their period! But hey, you could have found out all that stuff yourself in the time it took you to swear that it was paid software. It's premium, but you don't pay unless you want the extra useless stuff.
Ask for help, get defensive when people give you good suggestions. Why even ask for help in the first place?
Dust.
XBMC is a UPnP/DNLA server but its way too much so thats why I wanted something more lightweight and that fits my needs. Im gonna try Plex out as well.I use Plex. With a Chromecast, I can push an HTPC further out.
It's also worth noting that xbmc is not a server. Unless I'm horribly misinformed.

I looked it up and saw that it was free (just closed source) and then posted that I could have sworn it was free. Nothing else.
Might wanna change that tampax.
