Upkeep of a Computer

so my mom doesn't like me keeping my computer on 24/7. i told her it doesn't cost that much electricity to keep a computer on all the time. what would you guys say is the monthly cost for my computer?

1024 MB of Geil DDR PC-3200
Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Flashed to XT OC'ed to 450/744
Maxtor 40.0 GB @ 7200 RPMS

Soundblaster Audigy 2 Value
harmon/kardon 2.1 speakers (32 watts RMS?)

For an average PC and 17" CRT...about $22.50/month running 24/7 at 12 cents per KWH.

Multiply watts by the number of hours in a month, then multiply by the cost per Wh/kWh.

if you have a CRT get a LCD it will lower ur power bill even more.
