Hi guys, I was wondering if I would run into any problems when I finally upgrade my video card from an ATI 9600SE to a Nvidia 6800. I am not aware of any possibilities of any problems that might arise. SO with that said, would I need to do anything before taking out my ATI 9600SE and putting in my 6800? Most stories I heard from people is that they just take out the old video card and plug in a new one. Would this be the case? Or would I need to do something with my motherboard? If so, please reply with any suggestions.

Uninstall the ATI drivers and use DriverCleaner to remove all traces of them, then remove the 9600SE and install the 6800.
