upgrading ????

I am looking to upgrade my video card to a Radeon 9600 128mb. My only hangup is I can't find a list of supported video cards for my motherboard. It is an Epox 8khal. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find some info on this?:disgust:

Had a look at your motherboard at http://www.hardwarepub.net/reviews/8khal/3.shtml and it's tested with a geforce 3 card. Maybe it can be of some help. Got a 4X Agp slot. I don't think it should be a problem to get this card to work, even if a radeon 9600 runs bet on a 8X agp slot.

With very limited exceptions, if you have an AGP slot, any AGP card will work in it.
That's why you can't find any compatibility list.
The only thing to look out for would be the 2x, 4x, 8x support. Some of the newest cards are leaving out support for 2x.
If you have 4x, you're golden.
