upgrading Windows 7

I have build 7100 of Win7 running on my system. So far, so good. I understand that other builds 7100+ are out.

Is there any way I can upgrade to those numbers? I've done all the MS updates so far. (except an optional nVidia one)

PS- sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find anything when I looked.

Yeah, get the install and have at it.

You can't "upgrade" from one release to another with Windows Update, if that's what you're asking.

Is there any compelling reason to even bother updating from the 7100 build? I've been using it for a month now and it is solid. Haven't had any issues or see any reason to upgrade.

So that means a big download and reformat my system? Damn, I was hoping to use this as a stable configuration for a while.

Alienwho,

Some weeks back I read a review somewhere about a feature of Win7 that I've not seen so far. The irony is that I've forgotten what it was, so I gues I'll stick with 7100 for a while. 😉
