Upgrading to skylake

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, motherboard and memory from a 2500k in a p67 motherboard with 16gb. I've taken a look at the stickies and some of the more recent posts and am interested in upgrading to a skylake processor.
For reference, I currently have a 780 GTX, 1TB WD Black HD and a 650W power supply. I am also running an OEM copy of windows that I will need to replace (I think). Would the following parts be a suitable fit for the components I do not plan on replacing?

Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor/Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3P (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
Microsoft Windows 10 Home - 64-bit - OEM

Thanks!

If you're going to upgrade and re-install Windows, you really should take the opportunity to add an SSD to your system.

Your single best bang for the buck upgrade would be to get a SSD...

Thanks guys. I will look at getting an SSD, but the main reason why I am upgrading is because I think my motherboard is dying (started a post in computer help about it). My monitor goes blank sometimes when I play fallout. Not sure if it's due to temperature or even if my PSU is dying (going to check this weekend if this is the case), but I thought it was about time to refresh my computer since it has been about 4 years. Thanks again.

Just upgraded my 2700k home pc as i was getting bored of it, didn't expect too much, was going to do Haswell, but got so lazy i just sold the parts for what i got it for. Man Heroes of the storm runs like butter with the same vid card.
