ok after a few days of sleep, and thought, i finally decided to buy myself a new gaming rig of its days. i was wondering, the edeal on newegg with if you buy a 7800gt and u get a free mobo.. is that mobo negood?


and also any help appreciated on building this comp... plan to buy all parts in a month or so. 1500-2k or so budget without monitors or keyboards and external periferals

With that kind of budget, you could get a better board.
 
It's pretty good, I got it about 4.5 months ago.
That deal has been going on for at least half a year from eVGA. newegg is not the only one w/ the deal. Look around and hopefully you will find some more retailers doing the same.
