Upgrading to dual core

Oooops.....sorry about that.

I'm upgrading from a 3500+ Venice to an Opty 170.

I have downloaded the amdcpu.exe drivers for the x2.
Should I install this driver before or after I install the new cpu?

Are there any other drivers or updates I may need in order for everything to work smoothly? I've read a bit about the windows hotfix, but it seems that the amd x2 drivers will most likely clear up/prevent any problems like that.

Thanks.

1. Update to latest BIOS
2. Install X2
3. Check to see if windows detects it (it should)
4. If win doesn't detect, most likely you have to do a fresh reinstallation
5. Install AMD driver
6. Install MS hotfix
