Hi gang,
I have in my possession a nice Diamond Fire GL 4000 PCI video card. Used to be quite the item some years ago. Got it for giggles for about 10$. In any case, it has either 15 megs on-board of video ram and 4 megs of cdram (in a removeable 168 pin sdram looking chip) or the other way around...I'm not totally sure which just yet (I think the 15 is on board).
I'd like to replace the 4 meg chip with a 16 meg chip, which from what I have read about on various websites, can be done. But having called a few memory places, all I get are blank stares (a neat trick over the phone!)
So, anyone have any bright ideas where I can go (besides straight to hell) to upgrade this?
TIA
DF
